Submission Guidelines

Interested in contributing to the next issue? We haven't got very many requirements, but here they are:

1. All submissions must relate to gaming in some way. Permissible subjects include, but are not limited to: in-depth articles developing a single aspect of a given game, expanded rules for existing games, original fiction, original artwork, interviews with game writers and other major industry insiders, articles about gamers, gaming society or online gaming, etc.

2. No previously published materials will be accepted. Only original work should be submitted.

3. The name and e-mail address of the author should be included with each submission so that proper credit can be given.

4. Submissions should be sent to the editor in a format which can be easily cut-and-pasted. MS Word, Notepad, Wordpad and Word Perfect are all acceptable formats. Including your own HTML code in the submission is optional.

5. Letters to the editor will be accepted. As of January 1, 2000 The Portal and Writings of the Shrouded Monk reserves the right to print or deny printing to any letters sent to the editorial staff in response to articles or opinions presented within the newsletter's pages. The staff also has the right to emend said letters for inappropriate content or length as need be. Letters will be printed anonymously only at the specific request of the author.

6. A deadline will be set for each issue and posted here. The deadline for issue 5 is April 5.
