War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The degraded state of moral and patriotic feel which dictates nothing is worth war is far worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety is a miserable creature with no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill

I dedicated this web site to great role-playing games, all of whose story lines feature war looming in the horizon, if not already taking place. Most of the information herein brings more realism to the games, through the use of house rules and practical insights. The intent is to help other role-players bring life to their own games, not to insult the designers.
28 JUL 02 Cleaned up some links and the Pod Corp site.
27 JUL 02 Demonstration announcement on Pod Corp site. Reorganized the Gritty Gear rules. Removed banner ads. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to work on my skunk works rules, which I believe have great potential, but need some polish.
6 APR 02 Trying to restore the site to its old glory after a case sensitive UNIX problem.
9 DEC 01 Added Pod Corp Tokyo. Changed Silhouette section name to "Gritty Gear" and added Skunk works.
10 SEP 01 Well the site is badly in need of an update, including new banners. So here are a few.
12 MAR 01 I will be gone for a little bit. But will be back with more updates soon.
11 FEB 01 Decided to change the Heavy Gear section to Silhouette Systems because the house rule can be applied to any of the games. Incorporated some new pics to give a more blended feel and started to fill out the sections as well as do some editing.
20 JAN 01 I'm back and ready for action. I'm dropping the Jovian Chronicles section for an Ironclaw area. You should check that game out.
26 SEP 00 Preparing for a long absence from the computer and possibly my games. Removed demo team links.
08 SEP 00 Changed layout of Heavy Gear house rules to subject vice section. Moved guest book to this page for ease of access and prevent rotation of hit counter.
